岗位职责：
The Role
Tesla is seeking anintern for Chassis System. You need to be able to efficiently work with largeamounts of information in order to process new methods and make the correct conclusions in a timely manner. A strong technical background in diagnosing complex electromechanical systems with heavy software content and deployed in
safety-critical applications is required. You will work with your mentor for activities such as engineering and manufacturing to allow a future sustainable and improved product. This intern must be passionate about the product, a strong critical thinker with great fluency understanding technical system-level architecture and issues.

The Department
The responsibility of Service Engineering, as part ofVehicleSoftware Engineering, is to provide end to end engineering solution based on customer needs, to improve product's quality, serviceability, sustainability and to implement changes to the customers based on high iteration speed.


岗位要求：
Responsibilities

· Underthe guidance of Tesla engineer, to perform diagnostics on launch issue/field failures both remotely - looking at data logged by the vehicle, and directly in the field with onboard diagnostic tools.

· Coordinate with overall cross-functional teams and component owners to perform root cause analysis, finding countermeasure and deploy solution to the fleet.

· Responsible for developing automatic diagnostic logics and diagnostic alerts related with chassis functions.

· Massive data analysis is required to triage chassis related issues.

· Under the guidance of Tesla engineer, to run fleet data analysis, dive into root causes, and find product improvement opportunities in chassis system.

· Support the local validation and verification, and software Quality Assurance testing for factory new product launch.

· Identify improvements for serviceability of the product for the purpose of reducing costs.



Requirements

· Undergraduate in Automotive Engineering / E&E Engineering / Mechatronics/Mechanical Engineering or similar.

· Leading (being part of) university car racing team, have a systematic knowledge for chassis system based on chassis related projects (either responsible for steering control or brake control in the team)

· Have a good knowledge for vehicle eclectic architecture.

· Have experience in using oscilloscope to acquire voltage/current trace. Be able to use tools like CANoe, CANape and CANalyzer is a plus.

· Able to read or interpret Python and C/C++. Experience with data acquisition and analysis and processing tools, including one or more programming or scripting languages is a plus

· Able to read, interpret electrical schematics. Experience with PCB design systems such as Altium NEXUS is a plus.

· Able to read, interpret and design mechanical drawings. Experience with CAD systems such as CATIA is a plus.

· Be fluent in English (additional foreign languages a plus)
