Systems Development Engineer 2

Location: Shanghai

Major responsibilities:

·       Setup and validate the unique solutions/ configurations in the lab.

·       Co-work with the core team to meet the deliverable schedule.

·       Closely work with the factory operation team to enable the new solution in the factory.

·       Trouble-shooting and provide resolution on the problems found during the validation and from the customer.

·       Setup, maintain and optimize the test environment, test tools and test plan.

·       Track the new technologies and act as the technical experts.

·       Demo the POC and do the benchmark testing.

·       Provide technical consultant and support for the customer engagements; before, during and after the sales process.

·       Master degree or above, best in EE or CS major.

·       Fluent English communication in oral, read and write.

Job Description:

The ADS software test development team is looking for a team member to design, develop and execute automation tests on multiple EMC designed products. The ideal candidate should have strong electrical theory with a working knowledge of circuit board designs. Debugging and failure analysis are a must for the successful candidate. In addition, the candidate should exhibit self-sufficiency, high levels of motivation, and the ability to quickly and thoroughly learn new and complex topics.

Skills:

Previous experience working with IDE tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio.

History of developing application software using Python and C#.

Excellent cross-platform analysis and troubleshooting ability.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

In-depth working knowledge of both the Linux and Windows Operating Systems.

Previous experience working with virtualization technologies.

Client/Server testing and troubleshooting experience.

Working knowledge of computer board architecture.

Capable of troubleshooting circuit boards to the component level.

Education/Experience:

Candidate has at least a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering

Mechanical Design Engineer, Test Equipment Development

Location: Shanghai

This role also supports tester manufacturing operations. You will be required to aid the purchasing group by answering supplier questions regarding the production builds of test equipment. You will also be involved in tester failure analysis. Working with the factory process engineering teams and test equipment users, you will have to address tester issues, develop and test solutions, release updates and rework procedures, and support global rework activities.

Basic Qualifications:

·       BS in Mechanical Engineering

·       SolidWorks Part and Assembly Modeling, Drafting, and FEA Simulation experience

·       Validating and modifying physical prototypes

·       Thorough understanding of stress analysis, thermal fluids, and material properties

·       Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

·       Ability to communicate concepts and work well with teams locally and remote

·       Basic Electrical and Computer Engineering aptitude

·       Understanding of Mechanical Drafting Standards and 2D Schematic creation

·       Desire and energy to work in a fast-paced agile environment

·       Experience with complex Sheet metal design

·       Experience with FDM 3D printing methods and model slicing
